Theres gonna be contradictions cause men wrote it but its still the word of God even if there are a few mistakes

Yes you could do this but the holiness of the Bible is not dependant on the ink and pages,the Bible rests on the truth of God,that is Christ Himself who is the truth and He is the living Word,in other words the Word is not a something it is a somebody and that somebody is the Christ.

Oh, if you’re going to start bringing logical things like dictionary definitions into this, you’ll get nowhere The Bible’s holy because the believers say it is. Nothing will ever convince them otherwise, and they’re not going to bother to educate themselves about the true meaning of the word, nor will proof of contradictions sway them.

And there really ARE a lot of contradictions in there… not as many as there are hyprocrisy’s in the rules of religions. But still…

The Book becomes Holy only for the users. It is not Holy for anyone who tries to look for the contradictions just for the sake of disproving it.
If you do not believe, stop reading. It is just as simple as that.
Do not even try pretending you have fully read it because reading and knowing without understanding is useless to be your basis of proving what you cannot really prove.

Yes. It’s Holy in its truth because it’s the Word of God. Now, if someone goes and scratches a word out and writes something else in there… does that then make that new word part of the “Word of God”? No. In its originality yes the scriptures are truly Holy. No man can understand the Holy Bible as God KNOWS it, because it’s HIS Word to us, and it will also take eternity for him to reveal himself completely to those in Heaven. He is that “BIG”.

You are misunderstood that “Holy” means “pure” though, as it does not. Simply put, Holy essentially means “divine”.

You can wake up a person who is sleeping, but can you wake up anyone who is pretending to sleep? These are the people who defend the Bible saying its pure, there are no contradictions, God is winnowing etc. Basically, to sum up in One Single Word, they are FOOLS !

The word “Holy” that we use today comes to us from the the original “Hagios”. This word literally means “set apart”, God specifically tell us to “you should be Holy, even as I am Holy”. Gods is so pure that He is set aside from every thing else. This is a concept that our finite minds cannot grasp so far but I believe God is about the business of revealing His holiness to us, He dose this thru His Son, thru His Spirit, and yes thru His Holy Word the Bible.

In his book “The Case For Christ” Lee Strobel, talks about the validity of the Bible as purely an ancient document, and (if I recall correctly) from the earliest copies of the bible, to what we have today, the bible we use is approximately 97% accurately translated. The authorities of any note on the subject of ancient texts agree that this a significant percentage of correctness in the text, and therefore conclude that the Bible is probably the most trustworthy ancient document that is in use to date.

Paul lead by the Holy Spirit imparted to Timothy “that all scripture is inspired (God Breathed) by God”. I believe that the the holiness of God is imparted to us as we consume and meditate on His word. “Thy word I have hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee”. There is and old saying about the Bible that goes “This book will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from this book”.

I find that those that don’t read the Bible often, or those that limit themselves to the King James Verson are the ones that have the most dificulty accepting this Holy Book into their heart, mind, and soul.

The best way I can explane it to you is this, Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth, The B.I. B.L.E. yes that’s the book for me. If you ever loved someone, you loved, getting a note or letter from them was something you wanted to get, and you read it over and over especially if you were far away. If you ever had a loved one that has passed and had a note, letter or journal you probably cherrish those words. My Bible is my insight to my God, my Savior, my helper inside of me. You must develop a relationship with God to really understand His word, It’s like Jesus has the secret decoder ring and He gives it freely to those that ask of Him. I suggest you try it.

A) It is made holy and pure by God. It is God’s Word, and by association, is holy. Likewise, when we “associate” with God by accepting His grace, we become holy before Him as well.

B) There are no contradictions in scripture. Everything can be explained – most people don’t understand how to read the Bible in context, both historically and spiritually. That solves most contradictions I know of.

However, if you point any out, I’ll be glad to try to answer you.
