What is “counterfeit Christianity,” and isn’t it really just a way for Christians to insult other Christians?
If someone who’s Christian happens to practice or believe things that aren’t printed in the Bible, but they still follow the teachings of Christ, how does it make them any less of a Christian? Isn’t it just judgement and arrogance on the part of the accuser?
seeker of holy God: “you do not believe or teach false things” – why is it false if it happens to not be mentioned in the Bible? Does that make any sense to you?

Does it irk you that Christianity is under “Religion” in the bookstore but Wicca and other religions aren’t?
I’ve noticed that Christianity, Islam, and Judaism are all under the label of “Religion” with a whole big section to itself, but Wicca, Buddhism, Druidism, Hinduism, Taoism, etc are all crammed together and mixed up in a tiny corner of the bookstore half the size of the “Religion” section and labeled “New Age.”
@nietzsche: Druidism is not Eastern, it’s European.

Which branches of christianity most often use the word Accuser to describe “the devil”?
Where does the term “the accuser” most often come up? Certain sections of the bible? Certain texts about the bible? Certain types of christianity use it more?

I don’t know which denomination uses that word all the time, but it is in Revelation.

Revelation 12:10
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

And by the way, the Christians around the world are getting falsely accused all the time, and more and more all over the world, as we near the end of the age.

All religions are just a way of looking at god. It doesn’t change what god really is, it just changes what we think of him to be.
So, in a way, yes, all religions are just as imaginary.

I can’t remember where these quotes are in the book:
“Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important”

is Christianity on its way out?
from Catholicism to the Great Schism, where then Protestants dissolved into more diverse groups, and more recently more churches stopped being “Presbyterian” or “Baptist” and began just being non denominational, does anyone else feel like we may be in the middle of an unraveling of Christianity? i have to imagine when Greek mythology withered away, it began like this as well.

furthermore, with atheism becoming more prevalent alongside agnosticism, do you every sit back and think that we are on the downward slope?
nobody is expanding on the points i made about the dissolution from Catholicism to what we see now

Before there was “born again Christianity”, did no one go to heaven?
The “born again” and “saved” brand of Christian insist that you need to ask the Lord to become “born again”. Yet “born again” Christianity has barely been around 100 years. So what about all the Christians that came before that? What happened to them?
