God commanded Moses to go to Egypt and deliver his fellow Hebrews from bondage. Pharaoh replied that he did not know their God and would not permit them to go. Eventually Pharaoh let the Hebrews depart after Moses’ God sent ten plagues upon the Egyptians. The tenth plague was the slaying of the Egyptian male first-born children, whereupon such terror seized the Egyptians that they ordered the Hebrews to leave. Moses then led his people eastward, beginning the long journey to Canaan.

This is a new series (1-7) of Verse No. in the Bible versus the Quran.

Verse No. 7 in the Old Testament says that God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light..

Verse No. 7 in the New Testament says: Solomon the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, Abijah the father of Asa,

Verse No. 7 in the Noble Quran says:  (keep us on the right path), the path of those upon whom you have bestowed thy grace, not the (path) of those who earn your anger nor of those who go astray. (amen please answer)

———————-

The verse No. 7 in the Old Testament is Genesis 1:7

The verse continues talking about the creation of the heavens and the earth, it says: And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so.

———————-

The verse No. 7 in the New Testament is Matthew 1:7

The verse continues talking about the Genealogy of Jesus Christ, and Matthew lists Jesus’ ancestors, the verse says: Solomon the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, Abijah the father of Asa,

Here again, we have the problem of writing the names in the different four versions of the Bible studied.

Basically, the names of the people have no translation, they have to be written as they are pronounced.

How come that a person’s name in one version of the Bible is Asa; and in another version of the Bible he is Asaph?

How come that a person’s name in one version of the Bible is Abijah and in another version of the Bible he is Abia?

How come that a person’s name in one version of the Bible is Rehoboam and in another version of the Bible he is Roboam?

———————-

Verse No. 7 in the Noble Quran is Chapter 1:7, Surah AL-FAATEHAH (THE KEY), 1:7

The verse says

Verse No. 7 in the Noble Quran

Chapter 1:7 [AL-FAATEHAH (THE KEY)]

Verse No. 6 utters what the Muslims say in their regular praying:  keep us on the right path,

Verse No. 7 defines that required path

It says: the path of those upon whom you have bestowed thy grace, not the (path) of those who earn your anger nor of those who go astray. (amen please answer)

the path of those whom You have favored, with guidance not [the path] of those against whom there is wrath, namely, and nor of those who are astray.

Allah knows best what is right, and to Him is the Return and the final Resort.

Sufficient is Allah for us; an excellent Guardian is He. There is no power and no strength save in Allah, the High, the Tremendous.

It is also said, the path or the Religion of those whom You have blessed with the Religion and who are the followers of the messengers and the prophets e.g. Noah, Hood, Salih, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, Solomon, Jesus etc.

In short, Muslims seek the religion of all the messengers and prophets sent by Allah.

Not the path of those who earn Your anger by disobeying you. Nor of those who go astray, nor the religion of the erred. Amen: thus shall be its custodians;

it is also said that Amen means let it be so.

It is also said that it means: O our Lord! Do with us as we have requested You. And Allah knows best.

It is very premature to ask this question:

Is the Quran quoted from the Bible?

Wait and you will see.

Today a faithful reader sent in the following question for us to answer:

Why was their journey so important? Why was it written in the Holy Bible?

How did Aaron in the Holy Bible get to live so long? It is in Number 33:38-39.
