Was there ever an “Anti-Orthodox” Reformation?

Was there ever an “Anti-Orthodox” Reformation?
Everybody knows about Martin Luther’s little hissy-fit which produced a church that disintegrated to the point that even He wouldn’t set foot in it. But I don’t recall hearing about a rebellion against the Eastern Church. If there was such an event, how are its resultant religions different from Protestantism?

Catholics are Catholics. Ether Roman Catholic or Eastern Orthodox they are still Catholics. Protestants broke away from the Roman Catholic Church. In their minds Catholics are all the same.
