When you first hear “Christian Orthodox” which church do you mostly relate it to and why ?
For example :

Russian Orthodox
Serbian Orthodox
Greek Orthodox
Asyrian Orthodox

etc…

Actually, I think of just “the Orthodox East” – I think that orthodoxy divided along such ethnic lines is an embarrassment to the Body of Christ.

Most people will think catholic when they hear the term orthodox.
However, Presbyterian, Baptist, Amish, Mennonite, and the like would be more close.

I personally think of Greek Orthodox. I once went to a wedding in a Greek Orthodox church. Both the church and the ceremony were beautiful.

Catholicism. Because they define Orthodoxy for the West.

Greek Orthodox, but that is because I was raised in a Greek Orthodox church.

Fortunately, I was raised by someone who recognized that the Ethnic portion (the language of the service) was secondary to the ORTHODOX portion.

And, BTW, most Orthodox Christians put the Christian after Orthodox instead of before it. To say “Christian Orthodox” would be like saying “Jewish Orthodox”, instead of Orthodox Christian or Orthodox Jewish…….

Rusian, Bulgarian, Serbian, Romanian, Antiochian, Greek and OCA are all the same as we are in cominion with each other. Share the same doctrine and even Liturgy you can not say one is more Orthodox than the other. Some of us to take offince when people want to devide us by nationality becuse while our we my be devided into self govering Synods our faith and church is one..
The Asyrian is Netorian and ther fore nto realy Orthodox and the Coptic Syriac Armenian and Malnakara Churches are at times called the Oriental Orhtodox church. There is some debate as to wether they are simply schismatic or not. I consider them to be schismatic,
